The Devil Wears Prada (movie), Andy/Miranda pairing

Lost in Delaware, M/NC-17, 4500 words
The crowning joy to a miserable day: getting lost with Miranda, on a deadline, in a state park somewhere in Delaware.

Officer Miranda, M/NC-17, 4500 words
Nothing could possibly go wrong when drunk!Andy wanders, alone, into an alley behind a leather bar. Right?
Note: Read the warnings! Not horror-fic at all, but extremely graphic and could be triggering for some.

Runway Strikes Back, PG-13 (I know!), 3000 words
Vaguely Star Trek/random sci-fi crossover-ish. Was intended to be utter crackfic, but a little plot crept in despite my best efforts.

That Ridiculous Dress, M/NC-17, 12000 words

Intro and DisclaimersPrologue | Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3
Severely AU. Andy gets a job at the
Mirror right away instead of going to work for Runway. Miranda is, however, an unavoidable presence on the New York publishing scene, and they cross paths rather dramatically after an awards dinner.

Winning the War, M/NC-17, 5500 words
Andy might have won the first battle, but there’s a reason Miranda has never lost a war.

Haiku (yes, DWP haiku, on various topics), rated G through M

Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Buffy/Faith pairing

Slayer Dreams, PG-13, 1300 words
My first baby step into writing fanfiction. Probably the worst thing I've posted, but I leave it up for nostalgia's sake.

Title: Runway Strikes Back
Fandom: The Devil Wears Prada (movie)
Rating: PG-13 (I know! I was shocked too.)
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the characters herein. I'm using them without permission, I'm not making money off them, and no harm is intended. Blah blah blah.
Warnings: sci-fi AU/crack, vague Star Trek references
Author's Notes: This fic is sort of halfway between crack and AU. I intended it to be more of a straight-up crack kind of deal, but, as I'm sure you know by now, I am totally incapable of writing fics that are completely lacking in plot. A friend requested some crack to distract her while she worked today, and, although I finished it too late to succeed in being much of a distraction, she was very complimentary anyway. It has not been beta-read, although I did the best comb-through I could. Please do let me know if you see any stupid errors, since I despise them passionately.
Credit for the title goes to jinkies, who wins at life.

Just stop now. It's not working.

So, [info]grdnofevrythng texted me a really interesting discussion question last night:

If you were in love with someone, but the sex was bad, would you say something?

There was no way my response could be condensed into 160 characters, so I thought I'd post about it instead.

Cut for length and R-ish discussion of sexual topics (no, really?)Collapse )

Random Haiku Thursday (Friday, really)

Sorry! I have...some very enjoyable but distracting personal stuff going on right now. So. For all...like, two or three of you who may be interested, here is RHT, only 23 hours and some change late. Good thru whenever. Prompt me with whatever you want. If you don't know the rules...I can't bring myself to care. Just prompt me with something and I'll write a haiku. K? Got it? Good. Get busy. Realistically, I'll keep writing until...say, the end of the weekend, because I'm in a really generous mood today :D

Random Haiku Thursday (very very late!)

Okay, here are the basic rules, in case you've forgotten since last week:

You (yes, this means YOU, as long as you have an LJ) comment with a prompt or prompts about pretty much anything (see detailed rules if you have questions), the more inappropriate the better. You can still submit prompts until midnight in your time zone or EST (GMT -5hrs), whichever comes later whenever. That's right, I said whenever. I'm feeling generous today :D

I write a haiku based on your prompt.

Everyone comments.

Fun is had.

See how easy that is?

Disclaimer: I make no claims to any copyrighted material used in the haiku, and I'm making no money off of them. Believe me, if I owned even a tenth of this stuff, I would NOT be sitting around writing haiku all day (not for free, anyway).

Warning: I've given these entries an M/NC-17 rating, just to be safe, but so far nobody's requested anything requiring more than an R rating.

Random Haiku Thursday

Ok, so I'm feeling both severely unmotivated and kind of depressed today. I need distraction, ASAP. Plz to be prompting me!

Copy & Paste from last week (and the week before):

Fic: Lost in Delaware, DWP, rated M

Title: Lost in Delaware
Rating: M/NC-17
Word Count: ~4500
Disclaimer: I do not own the copyrighted characters or any other entities used in the following work of fiction, and I am making no profit from them.
Summary: Andy is pissed. Miranda is impatient. They're both frustrated. I can't imagine what might happen when they end up stranded somewhere in Delaware, all alone in a gorgeous state park at sunset. Can you?
Author's Notes: This fic started life as a PWP that sprang, just about fully formed, from the fertile and delightfully twisted mind of gizmospur  during a crazy late-night instant messaging bonanza type thing. She declined to write it into a fic herself, so I ended up with that honor, and somehow some plot crept in while I wasn't looking. The lovely (and talented) grdnofevrythng , who was also present for this instant messaging bonanza, graciously consented to beta for me, and flitterbug18  and mirandyscrow  each made a request, which I have done my best to fulfill :)

For anyone who's interested, this is the car I was picturing as I wrote the story.
